Small place. Not very fancy decor. Food options are not pricey.... BUT, OH LORD!!! There is some really delicious items here! And, I love how personable everyone is. I felt like I was sitting at the kitchen table at Tony's Place (no pun intended).

The quality of this restaurant was quite poor.
For starters, as previously mentioned in another review, the salsa (appetizer) was quite watery and was very sweet, almost like ketchup.
The enchilada dinner I ordered had way too much cheese on it and made it very hard to chew the food. The guacamole on the side was primarily just lettuce with a hint of watered-down "guacamole" (truthfully, it was more like water and guacamole ingredients thrown together).
Though the service has a decent amount of friendliness and Tony makes sure to go around and stop at your table at least once to check up on your liking to the food, it does not unfortunately dismiss the obvious fact that the restaurant is very unclean. Wiping down tables with a rag does not equal cleanliness, and it definitely shows... -

Had a steak burrito and it was very good. It's the size of a small baby, so bring your appetite. Complimentary chips and salsa. Salsa is very good but very sweet. You also get complimentary pickled carrots and jalapeños.
Interior is old. But it's been there for many many years. Staff was super friendly. -

Came from LA and stayed in Joliet. Was looking for quick food and the pictures looked really good. ..... everything tastes like ketchup! The salsa for chips was sweet and ketchup like. Enchilada sauce was sweet and tasted like ketchup. Guac was good , beans tasted normal. But it was all terrible sadly. They guy hooked it up with 4 enchiladas. We ate one and fed the rest to the birds. They might like ketchup.
Tony is Hispanic, however I don't know why it wasn't authentic . Looked good , but very very disappointing and not authentic or traditional.
Jamaica tasted like watered down kool aid ! -
